The Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) is a Canadian initiative designed to address labor shortages in various industries by allowing employers to hire foreign workers temporarily when qualified Canadian citizens or permanent residents are not available. Employers who face difficulty finding local workers can apply to bring in foreign workers to meet their staffing needs.
